Crossing the Blue – How to Reach Us on Nisyros

Nisyros lies between Kos and Rhodes, in the southeastern Aegean. The easiest way to reach the island is by flying to either Kos or Rhodes, followed by a boat trip to Nisyros.
From Kos, there are daily connections year-round, while ferries from Athens (Piraeus) operated by Blue Star Ferries stop at Nisyros twice a week as part of their Dodecanese route.
All boats arrive in Mandraki, the island’s main village. From there, it’s just 4 km to Pali. You can take a taxi or a public bus, which usually runs twice a day — though not always in sync with boat arrivals.
If you’d prefer, we’re also happy to pick you up at the harbor — just let us know in advance.
Ferry schedules can change depending on the season. For up-to-date information, check directly with the ferry companies — or just get in touch with us, we’re happy to help!
